Date Night

Oh the sweetness of a Friday! The last day of school - looking forward to Gerald being home for a few days - a lazy Saturday! All things that we at our house look forward to. Today we are also looking forward to a date! Gerald and I haven't been on a date for about six months or so. We are so ready and need some time to ourselves. The plus side is that the kids are excited for us to go too. They LOVE their babysitter Melissa. In fact, this morning the first thing Olivia said is, "Melissa is coming today!" I told Andrew this morning that I had some bad news for him. He quickly responds, "Melissa isn't coming." I told him no, the news was that he had to take the recycling to the street and it was very cold. His response - "Oh, that's all!" They look forward to us going so they can have a blast with Melissa.

It has been a very full week. Gerald has spent many of his hours at home working on our presentation for Sunday. We are sharing about our missions trip to Mexico in church this Sunday. It has been very difficult to put five months into a ten minute report. Do you think they will mind if we go over? Our whole family is participating - well, except Lobo. Even though he is Mexican we felt it was best that he stays at home :) We are looking forward to Sunday, but it is hard to convey all the feelings and emotions about our life there. I realize that this is really impossible, but we still want to share how we saw God move and how we grew in our love for Jesus during our time there.

For now we are trying to keep warm and looking forward to the promised warmer weather that is coming.

We think that it would be great if you went over your 10 minutes you've been given. That can't in any way be enough time. We're looking forward to you sharing.
