I took Sandy to Dr. Fernando Arias this morning and he immediately thought she had an infection but ordered some blood work to check for Typhoid, which apparently is quite common around here. Sandy's vein's have always been hard to access and so she was very nervous about the young man who was taking her blood. But...as she said later, it was probably the least painful blood work she has ever had done, PTL!
I will go back now in a little while to see what the results are and pick up whatever medication the doctor will prescribe!
She is back in bed resting again after this little outing and still in quite a lot of pain. But now at least we are on track to getting this figured out and addressing the problem.
I made a number of calls this morning to postpone or cancel activities that we had planned this weekend, including going to Chihuahua tomorrow to preach! We're not at a place right now where travelling around the state is such a good idea.
Thanks for your prayers!
