Youth Conference...

Our last day in Mexico has come to a close...time for bed. While I spent the day at the Youth Conference, Sandy was at home doing dozens of last minute things, most of which included cleaning...The house is now spotless...at least I think it looks great, although Sandy is not convinced. It will be what it will be and we will give it one last quick once-over as we walk out the door tomorrow morning.
We hope to get a good and early start and hopefully be on the road in good time. We have about a 7 hour day of travelling planned for tomorrow...this will get us across the border by Ojinaga/Presidio and then into Texas several hundred miles. We are trusting the Lord that the border crossing will go well and that the van will work good loaded down again.
My time at the Youth Conference today was very good...the churches in our Conference down here in the State of Chihuahua get together every summer for a week of camp and then again for the New Year for two days. There were approximately 65 youth there today, which is close to their average over the last several years. I was impressed with how well run the event is and the speaker did a great job of speaking the truth. It was not easy to say goodbye to a bunch of the youth at the event but that is a blessing because God allowed us to get to know and love so many people in such a short time.

Walter and Chepina dropped by about 1/2 hour ago to say goodbye as well...we sure will miss them allot as well.
Well, off to bed and hopefully get some good rest before we take off tomorrow!
Blessings,
Gerald
