Today is Independence Day here in Mexico - while we didn't go out to watch the fireworks last night, nor will we likely go downtown to listen to all the "Viva Mexico" shouts, this is certainly an important day for the Mexicans. Nearly 200 years ago they were freed from the rulership of Spain - we are here to help the believers proclaim the gospel message to their fellow countrymen so that they can experience true freedom in Christ!

(Olivia is learning how to do her own hair - the big pink clip in the middle is her crown...)
It was good to be back in our home church here in Cuauhtemoc again this morning - we are slowly building relationships with these folks as we improve our Spanish!
